Alice is a beautiful rabbit. She is spayed and vaccinated against RHVD2. She will require an annual booster.

Alice has been through a very scary time. She was taken to the SSPCA as a young baby, adopted and then owner surrendered to us. We adopted her in April 2021. Unfortunately, for reasons we still don’t understand the adopter owner surrendered her to a horrific “rescue” where rabbits are kept in deplorable conditions. We don’t know why the adopter didn’t contact us to take Alice back. Our contract states that adopters will return rabbits to us if they cannot keep them for any reason. Through an extremely stressful event we located Alice and plead with the “rescue” who had her to return her to us. We found out she was returned to her original foster at the SSPCA after spending two weeks in deplorable conditions. We were relieved when we were able to get Alice back safely in our arms .

Alice is an extremely sweet and playful rabbit. She is curious and loves to explore. Alice  LOVES to be pet and enjoys checking out the kitties and other rabbits in her foster home. Alice is about six years old. This beautiful rabbit must go to a forever loving indoor home where she will be adored and spoiled. Our screening process will be very tough for anyone interested in adopting Alice. She has been through too much. Only serious inquires.

We are not able to resume on site adoptions due to covid19 and due to the Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHVD2) outbreak in California. Read more about RHVD2 here
