Lito is a darling Harlequin Mini-Lop. This sweet boy was surrendered to local shelter for biting children in the home. The shelter was going to euthanize him but contacted us first. We suspect he was mistreated by the children in the home. He also sustained an injury to his eye while in his previous home. We’ve been working with him in foster care. He is a really sweet boy but fears being picked up and will nip to let you know he doesn’t want to be picked up.  We  have him scheduled to have his eye checked out at Animal Eye Care of Rocklin. Lito wasn’t in the best condition when we rescued him. He had GI Stasis likely from not being fed a proper diet. His gut is back on track. He loves to chew on his organic apple sticks. Lito is neutered and vaccinated against RHVD2. He would do best in a home without any young children.
