Papa Bear & Fiver

Papa Bear was taken to a local shelter where we rescued him and three babies. We were told that Papa Bear was the Mom but we discovered that it was an intact male and not a female. Four babies were taken to the shelter with Papa Bear. One baby passed away over night at the shelter. Sadly, the remaining three kits passed away in foster care. We did all that we could to save them. Papa Bear was very loving and neutering toward the kits. We think he might have been the Dad but we don’t know for sure. Papa Bear is vaccinated against RHVD2 and neutered.

Papa Bear is bonded to Fiver. Fiver is a sweet Mini-Rex. He is neutered and vaccinated against RHVD2.

This love muffin is Bear. He tips the scales at just under 8 pounds. We rescued him from the @BradshawAnimalShelter with 3 babies whom he fathered and nurtured so well that the shelter and his foster Mom, thought he was their mother.
He’s been a father figure to most of the fosters. He keeps everyone in check and makes sure everyone cleans their face.
He is a surprisingly affectionate bunny who loves to have you sit on the floor with him and pet him. Some bunnies have places they don’t like touched, but Bear loves all the pets. Like most bunnies he’s not keen on being held. He’s still pretty convinced being held will lead to his demise.
He’s neutered, vaccinated against RHDV2 and ready to find a forever loving indoor home. He’d love a submissive companion to bond with or to be adopted with Fiver or Flint.
