Timing is everything. For 10 precious bunnies time was on their side. On a Wednesday evening in the heat of the summer, we received a call from Good Day Sacramento Anchor Tina Macuha. She found an abandoned rabbit laying in the middle of the street. She was able to capture the bunny with the help of a friend and place her in her backyard. We quickly rushed over to rescue the rabbit and safely secure her in a foster home. Later that evening the bunny we named Tina, gave birth to 10 kits (babies). Sadly, one didn’t survive. Her 9 baby bunnies are done nursing, and Tina will be ready to be adopted as soon as she is spayed. Tina is a very sweet and gentle rabbit.
